Locomotive is set on defending a six-game undefeated record in the league against a Loudoun side making their first ever trip to El Paso. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MT.

This will be the second ever meeting between the sides and the first time they meet at Southwest University Park. Locomotive got the upper hand in the initial meeting last season, walking away with three points in a 3-1 win at Loudoun’s Segra Field.
EL PASO LOCOMOTIVE FC (3RD WESTERN CONFERENCE, 5-3-1, 16 PTS)
Locomotive’s impressive performances over the last few weeks remain one of the top storylines in the league.
Currently undefeated in its last six matches, including wins in the last four contests, Locomotive would equalize a club record for most consecutive wins in club history with a win against Loudoun.
Locomotive is now joint-second in the league in both goals (15) and shots (118), as well as third for combined goals and assists (26). The club has been consistent in its scoring, getting at least one goal in 8 of 9 games. No team has done so more often in the USL Championship this season.
LOUDOUN UNITED FC (7TH EASTERN CONFERENCE, 3-4-1, 10 PTS)
Winless in their last three matches across all competitions, Loudoun will come into El Paso motivated to turn things around for themselves.
They will, however, come into Saturday’s match with less rest than Locomotive due to a midweek matchup in the U.S. Open Cup. Their run in the storied tournament ended in disappointment, a 5-1 loss to Columbus Crew (MLS).
Locomotive will need to watch out for Loudoun’s chance creation up top. In the Eastern Conference, Loudoun’s Panos Armenakas and Kalil ElMedkhar are joint-fifth in chance creation while Koa Santos is joint-fourth in crosses. Forward and captain Zach Ryan is equal on goals with El Paso’s Lucho Solignac, both joint-third in the league for goals scored (5).
