El Paso Locomotive FC has announced their preseason schedule leading up to their second season in the USL Championship. The Locos open up preseason against Texas United (USL League 2) on January 29. For the first time in club history Locomotive will face off against an MLS side club when they take on FC Cincinnati on February 5 in Tucson.
The Locos will compete against a few familiar faces during this preseason run. El Paso will play USL Championship clubs San Antonio FC, New Mexico United, Oklahoma City Energy FC, and Phoenix Rising. A Borderland friendly is also scheduled for the Locos and their neighbors to the South, FC Juarez. All preseason matches will be closed-door friendlies.
