EL PASO, TEXAS – September 1, 2026 – El Paso Locomotive FC’s Rubio Rubín has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week and earned Player of the Week honors for Week 26. Noah Dollenmayer and Gabi Torres have also earned spots on the Team of the Week.
Rubín appeared in the starting XI for both of El Paso’s matches, playing 180 minutes. In Saturday’s matchup against Loudoun United FC, Rubín recorded just the second hat trick in Locomotive history, completing the feat in just 40 minutes. His three goals moved him back to the top of the Golden Boot Race and brought his regular-season total to 13 goals.
Dollenmayer scored the game-winning goal in Locomotive’s 2-1 victory over Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Wednesday night. The defender connected with a cross from Zyen Jones, heading home El Paso’s second goal in the 90+1st minute. Dollenmayer also recorded nine clearances and one interception across the two matches.
Torres also appeared in the starting XI for both matches, playing the full 180 minutes. He recorded three chances created, three shots, and provided the assist on Locomotive’s fourth goal in the win over Loudoun.
