The United Soccer League announced today, following approval from the USL Championship’s Board of Governors, that the previously announced 30-day temporary suspension of play in the Championship will be extended to align with recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on restricting public gatherings of 50 or more people through Sunday, May 10th.
As a club, El Paso Locomotive FC thoroughly supports USL in its decision to extend the temporary suspension. The safety, health and well-being of our supporters, players, staff and greater community remains our highest priority. We will continue to closely monitor the ongoing developments surrounding COVID-19 and work closely with local, regional, and national health and governmental agencies.
We appreciate the ongoing support, patience, and understanding of our fans throughout these unprecedented circumstances. Locomotive FC will continue to provide updates on the 2020 USL Championship season as they become available. Remember to care for one another, stay safe and stay healthy.
March 12, 2020- Following the announcement by the United Soccer League to temporarily suspend matches for a minimum of 30 days, Locomotive FC issued the following statement:
“The health and safety of our fans, players and staff is our highest priority. Locomotive FC has given its full support to USL’s decision and in coordination with the league, health experts, and government agencies, we will continue to monitor development. Locomotive FC will announce the dates of the rescheduled matches at a later date.”
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to follow the recommendations of public health authorities, and our organization will continue to work closely with the League and all local, regional and national authorities as this situation evolves.

I have a ticket to an El Paso Locomotive FC match on March 14th vs Portland Timbers 2 or April 4th vs LA Galaxy II. What should I do now?
You do not need to take any action. Your existing ticket will grant you admission to the rescheduled match when the date for that event is announced. If you have any questions, feel free to contact El Paso Locomotive FC at 915-235-GOAL.
What if I have transferred my tickets for the El Paso Locomotive FC match on March 14th vs Portland Timbers 2 or April 4th vs LA Galaxy II?
If you have transferred your tickets, the recipient of those tickets will maintain them and gain entry to the rescheduled match.
