EL PASO, TEXAS – September 22, 2026 – El Paso Locomotive FC’s Rubio Rubín has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 29.
Rubín recorded a brace in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Phoenix Rising FC, opening the scoring in the 11th minute before sealing the victory with his second goal in the 90+6th minute. The forward finished the match with four total shots, three on target, two clearances, and one blocked shot.
