EL PASO, TEXAS – September 16, 2026 – El Paso Locomotive FC has announced that forwards Rubio Rubín and Jimmy Farkarlun, midfielder Carl Sainté, and defenders Noah Dollenmayer and Nicolas Cardona have been called up to their respective national teams for the upcoming Concacaf Nations League and Africa Cup of Nations window.
Rubín will join the Guatemalan national team for its upcoming group stage matches against Jamaica, El Salvador, and Suriname. The forward has made 41 appearances for Guatemala since making his debut on June 2, 2022, scoring 13 goals.
Farkarlun will join Liberia for its upcoming group stage matches against Rwanda and Mali. The 25-year-old has made three appearances for the Liberian national team, recording one goal.
Sainté is set to represent Haiti in its upcoming matches against Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic. The midfielder will join the Haitian national team for the first time since being named to the 2026 World Cup squad earlier this year. Sainté has made 25 appearances for the senior national team since making his debut in 2022.
Dollenmayer will join the Dominican national team for its group stage matches against Nicaragua, Trinidad and Tobago, and Haiti. This marks the third time this year the defender has been called up to the Dominican Republic national team, previously earning a spot during the June FIFA window.
Cardona earns another opportunity to represent Puerto Rico in its upcoming matches against Guyana, Dominica, and the Cayman Islands. The 27-year-old has made 29 appearances for the national team, recording one goal and one assist.
All five players will depart following El Paso’s match against Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, September 19, before rejoining the team ahead of its home match against Orange County SC on Saturday, October 10.
