EL PASO, TEXAS – August 20, 2026 – The 2025-26 season marked an important first year for the El Paso Locomotive ECNL Regional League Boys program in the highly competitive ECNL RL Mountain Division. Competing against established clubs throughout the region provided valuable experience for our players, coaches, and staff while helping us better understand the level required to compete consistently in the league.
A major highlight came when the ECNL announced its 2025-26 ECNL RL Boys All-Regional League Teams, with five El Paso Locomotive players earning recognition: Yahir Morales (U15), Aiden Mata (U16), Marcus Moncivais (U17), Aiden Bravo (U18/19), and Jacob Lopez (U18/19). This accomplishment reflects the talent within our club as well as the collective commitment of our players, coaches, and families. For a first-year program, having five players recognized at the regional level is an achievement that validates the direction in which we are moving.
“Congratulations to Yahir, Aiden, Marcus, Jacob, and Aiden on being recognized as ECNL-RL All-Regional League honorees,” said Boys Club Director Sean Taylor. “This is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the work, consistency, and commitment each player has demonstrated throughout the season. Being recognized among the top players in the region is something they should be extremely proud of. These players have represented El Paso Locomotive FC with professionalism, character, and a commitment to getting better every day. We are proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing how they continue to grow and represent the club at the next level.”
While we celebrate this success, we also recognize there is more work ahead. This season provided valuable lessons, identified areas of growth, and established a stronger vision for the future. The recognition our players received is another positive step for the ECNL RL Boys program and youth soccer in El Paso, and we look forward to building on this progress and continuing to raise the standard in the 2026-27 season.
