EL PASO, TEXAS – July 31, 2026 – El Paso Locomotive FC has announced the signing of goalkeeper Pedro Cruz on loan from Houston Dynamo 2, pending league and federation approval. Per club policy, the terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
Cruz has spent the past two seasons with Houston Dynamo 2 in MLS NEXT Pro. Across the 2025 and 2026 seasons, he has made 27 appearances, recording nine clean sheets and 152 saves.
The 22-year-old competed in the 2026 All-Star Skills Challenge, advancing to the Goalie Wars final. Cruz defeated Huntsville City FC’s Will Mackey and CF Pachuca’s Carlos Moreno before finishing as runner-up to Orlando City SC’s Maxime Crépeau.
