EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC goalkeeper Benny Diaz and defender Erik McCue were named to the USL Championship Team of the Week after their defensive performances in Week 28.
BENNY DIAZ
Diaz was a standout in El Paso’s match against Sacramento, recording his fifth five-save game, which included his first penalty attempt save of the year. His performance jumped him up to joint-first in the West in clean sheets (9) and third in saves (78).
ERIK MCCUE
McCue put in a defensive shift against a persistent Republic offense, leading the night in clearances (7) and interceptions (3).
