EL PASO, Texas – As El Paso Locomotive FC prepares for its match on Saturday against Loudoun United FC, set to be played at Southwest University Park, Locomotive fans all over the city are encouraged to Blue Out El Paso and show their Locomotive pride this Friday, May 12!
Locomotive is asking local businesses, schools, community leaders, organizations and Locomotive fans to Blue Out El Paso by wearing blue clothing and accessories, rocking their Locomotive apparel and creatively displaying their Locomotive pride on Friday.
Locomotive fans are encouraged to post photos on social media and show off what they are doing to Blue Out El Paso with the hashtag #VamosElPaso for a chance to win two tickets to Saturday’s match. Winner to be selected Friday at 5 p.m.
Locomotive come into Saturday’s contest as one the most in-form teams in the USL Championship, looking to extend its current undefeated streak to seven games, which includes consecutive wins in its last four matches. With a win on Saturday, Locomotive would equalize a club record for most consecutive wins in club history.
This will be the second ever meeting between both sides, with Locomotive coming out on top last year in a 3-1 win at Segra Field. Now, Loudoun are preparing for their first ever trip to the Sun City and Locomotive will hope to show them why El Paso is one of the hardest places for opponents to come play.
