EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC midfielder Denys Kostyshyn has earned a spot in the USL Championship Team of the Week – Week 8 after his game-winning goal against San Diego Loyal SC helped Locomotive extend its unbeaten run to five games and secure three more points.
Asides from scoring the game-winner, which is his second goal since joining El Paso for the 2023 campaign, Kostyshyn led in almost all attacking stats for Locomotive against San Diego, including four shots. The Ukrainian leads the league in shots taken with 23 and has proven to be quite the pickup for El Paso’s offense this season.
