EL PASO, Texas – As El Paso Locomotive ramp up preparations for the 2023 season, it’s always nice to look back at all that was accomplished in 2022, especially off the pitch. Here’s a look back at some of our favorite and heart-warming community moments.
Bed Build & Delivery with Sleep in Heavenly Peace – El Paso
The El Paso Locomotive Foundation, in partnership with the El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation, donated $5,000 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace – El Paso to help build and deliver 20 beds for children in need throughout the city. Locomotive’s Aaron Gomez and front office staff got together at Southwest University Park to aid in bed construction.

A&A All the Way Foundation and Operation H.O.P.E Bike Drive
Ozzy had the honor to help distribute 107 bikes to kids in the El Paso community, alongside Operation H.O.P.E and the A&A All The Way Foundation, the youth nonprofit founded by pro football players and brothers Aaron and Alvin Jones.

Texas Tech 8th Annual Cookie, Cocoa and Holiday Cheer
Nothing like Eder Borelli and Ozzy providing families with free cookies and hot chocolate to celebrate the holidays! In partnership with Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso, the donation drive provided free and delicious treats for all who came and helped collect toys, clothing and toiletries for the Opportunity Center for the Homeless and Rescue Mission of El Paso.

GECU Foundation Back to School Fundraiser
The El Paso Locomotive Foundation raised $6,250 for the GECU Foundation Back to School Fundraiser (in tandem with the 50/50 Community Jackpot presented by Texas Gas Service) to provide local students with essential supplies they need throughout the school year.

Texas Tech Welcome Back Fiesta
Along with Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso, Yuma went out to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso to hand out supplies and goodies to students at as they prepared for their upcoming semester. What a way to ring in the school year!
