In 2019 the Locos revealed their very first kits to lead them into their inaugural season. The light blue top featured a vertical train track on the right chest and gradient diamond while the navy kit featured the cow catcher from their logo but who could forget the white jersey that dropped mid-season with no warning?!

Could the 2020 kits match the inaugural season? The team unveiled the 2020 jerseys in a high energy fashion show at GECU headquarters in early December. The Locos debuted a clean navy jersey with chevron striping, a white and light blue jersey with a dotted sash as well as two striking goalkeeper kits in red and yellow mirroring the designs of the field player jerseys.
October 4, 2018. The day El Paso’s professional soccer team became El Paso Locomotive FC. A name built on the railroad history of our town with forceful imagery that represents strength and progression. The team name reveal excited fans and began the passion for the Locos.

A fan of the team since the beginning, Ozzy, the Mexican-freetail bat, was introduced as the team’s official mascot on February 22, 2020. A Locos fan at heart, Ozzy is ready to support his team at every match and delight children out in the community!
After ending the regular season in the 6th seed, Locomotive enjoyed skipping the play in round before heading to Fresno to take on the 3rd seeded team in the Western Conference. Aaron Gomez scored early but the team saw Fresno score back to back goals. Down 2-1, Jerome Kiesewetter scored in the 77th minute to tie the match and when Aaron Gomez was brought down in the box and awarded the penalty, Sebastian Velasquez scored in the 82nd minute to give the Locos the lead and game winner.

Next stop on the Locos ride to the Western Conference Finals was a home playoff match against Sacramento Republic. After earning the 6th seed, the highest of any expansion team, and beating Fresno in California, the Locos showed off their electric energy in front of a packed Southwest University Park. Aaron Gomez opened the match with goal off a free kick from James Kiffe in the first half and then late in the second half Sebastian Contreras netted a penalty kick. Up 2-0, Locomotive weren’t done yet. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Velasquez kept the energy high scoring yet another goal to bring the lead 3-0. With the Locos headed to the Western Conference Finals, the atmosphere in Southwest University Park was one to never forget.
When El Paso experienced the unthinkable on August 3rd, 8th Notch knew that they had to create a special TIFO for the El Paso Strong Night on August 17th. The supporters group worked tirelessly to create an incredibly special TIFO. The resulting product was one that honored each victim with a star high in the El Paso night sky.

With a rivalry beginning without any play on the pitch, the first matchup between El Paso Locomotive and New Mexico United at home on May 12th was shaping up to be a great match. 8th Notch pulled out all the stops to create an epic Breaking Bad themed TIFO entitled Break the Curse.
