Kickin’ Cancer Night is a special event dedicated to raising awareness, supporting those affected by the disease, and promoting cancer prevention within the community. It serves as a platform to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and celebrate the resilience of individuals and families impacted. Our club collaborates with organizations, survivors, and advocates to highlight their services and causes. Kickin’ Cancer Night includes testimonials, fundraising initiatives, on-field recognitions, and opportunities for community engagement to foster a supportive and proactive stance against cancer. Together, we can offer a moment of escape and inspiration to those affected, all while enjoying a soccer match. Join us in making a difference!
For information on how you can participate, contact Kelly Cortez at kcortez@eplocomotivefc.com and 915.283.3436.

Gold Out El Paso is a local non-profit who aims to spread Childhood Cancer Awareness and support our local warriors and their families.
Since 2020, GOEP has helped almost 300 families with funds for groceries, medicine, travel, lodging, bills etc. GOEP works with other local organizations to celebrate holidays with the children and their families through donations and events.
Gold Out’s mission is to spread awareness and support the local children and their families as they fight this horrible disease.

Candlelighters is committed to the mission that no child should have to fight cancer alone. Our organization remains the sole provider of free family services in the region, offering support, advocacy, and education to children diagnosed with cancer (ages birth to 25), their families, and the community at large. Our continuum of care addresses the prolonged financial, emotional, and social strain that results from a child battling a life-threatening illness. This range of care begins immediately following the diagnosis, continues through the treatment period, and extends up to six months after treatment as families work to regain normalcy in their lives.

Team Mexico is a vibrant all-girls soccer team that brings together young athletes from the age of 4 until they graduate high school. More than just a soccer team, we are a close-knit community that fosters strong bonds among our players, creating a supportive family atmosphere. Together, we are dedicated to giving back to the community, especially in times of need.
This year, our initiative aims to assist a parent currently battling cancer. Thanks to the generous support of the Locomotive, we have been able to alleviate some of the financial challenges associated with this illness by collaborating on their fundraising efforts. Above all, we want to demonstrate that our community stands united behind her, offering unwavering support during this difficult journey.

Hearts of Gold was founded by a community of mothers who have been deeply affected by childhood cancer, becoming a passionate voice for their children. Our mission is to provide unwavering support to patients and their families throughout and beyond treatment. We strive to unite and educate our community while raising awareness about this grossly underfunded disease that impacts far too many lives. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that no one has to fight alone.

Adopt-A-MomEP is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that began as a community Facebook group and has grown into a strong community outreach organization. For the past five years, Adopt-A-MomEP has supported children, mothers, and families in El Paso through school supply drives, winter coat initiatives, and partnerships with local school districts and nonprofits. The organization is especially active in supporting children battling cancer and their families, having donated Easter baskets, goodie bags, and raised over $30,000 to cover medical expenses, funeral costs, and other needs not covered by insurance. They also work to raise awareness for childhood cancer through parades, fundraisers, and advocacy efforts.

Soon after the launch of El Paso Locomotive FC in 2019, Locomotive Youth Soccer was created to provide unrivaled opportunities for youth soccer players in the Borderplex region.
In addition to developing players on the field, Locomotive Youth Soccer is proud to be actively involved in the community. Through initiatives like Kickin’ Cancer with our clinic, players and families come together to support and uplift those facing pediatric cancer, showing that the power of sport extends far beyond the game itself.
It is our mission to not only provide excellence within our programs, but also to inspire children to develop and reach their full potential both on and off the soccer field.
