EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC goalkeeper Benny Diaz has won the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week for Week 9.
On a full stretch dive, Diaz managed to get his fingertips on a long-range ball as it rocketed towards the top corner, redirecting the ball onto the crossbar and away from goal.
Diaz and Locomotive return to Southwest University Park this Saturday, May 13 as they welcome Loudoun United FC for their first ever visit to El Paso. Kickoff at 7:30 p.m. MT. Tickets can be purchased here.
