EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC announced today that forward Ricardo Zacarias will return for the 2024 USL Championship season.
After impressing as a preseason trialist, the 28-year-old Las Cruces native signed for El Paso from USL League One’s Chattanooga Red Wolves in 2021, making his debut as a late sub in a 1-0 win against Austin Bold FC. Zacarias has since made 72 appearances across all competitions for Locomotive, scoring five and assisting ten across 3,850 minutes.
“I’m looking forward to being in El Paso for another year, and I will continue to work hard to help bring a trophy to the city and the best fans in the USL, something they truly deserve,” Zacarias said.
Future roster transactions will be announced as Locomotive prepares for its sixth season in the USL Championship.
