Borelli joined Locomotive FC from the team’s Liga MX sister club, FC Juarez, ahead of the 2020 USL Championship season. Since then, Borelli has gone on to be one of the hardest working players on the backline and consistently creating chances down the left flank. His performances at Locomotive earned him back-to-back Locomotive Defender of the Year honors and the club’s 2020 MVP.
Having joined Los Bravos on loan in 2015 before signing full time in 2017, Borelli tallied three goals across 106 appearances for Juarez. Prior to his time with Juarez, the seasoned defender played with various clubs across Liga MX including Queretaro, Correcaminos, Atlante and UANL Tigres – where he helped lift the Tigres side to the Apertura 2011 Championship win.
