BIOGRAPHY
Eder Borelli enters his fifth season with El Paso Locomotive FC. Borelli joined from Locomotive’s Liga MX sister club FC Juarez ahead of the 2020 USL Championship season, earning the team’s MVP award later that year.
He’s become a vocal leader for the squad on and off the pitch and his veteran leadership will be valuable once again in 2024 as he also eyes to become the fifth Locomotive player in club history to make 100 or more appearances across all competitions.
Prior to his 135 appearances with the Bravos, Borelli spent time playing for various other Mexican clubs including Queretaro, Correcaminos UAT, Atlante and Tigres UANL – a side that lifted the 2011 Apertura trophy. In total, Borelli played 212 matches for clubs in Mexico.
Born in Mexico, Borelli is of Argentian descent and comes from a footballing family. His father, Jorge Borelli, and maternal grandfather, Vladislao Cap, both played for the Argentina Men’s National Team.
