Locomotive applied attacking pressure from the opening whistle, with Rubín opening the scoring in the fifth minute. Loudoun responded in the 17th minute to level the match at 1-1, but Rubín restored El Paso’s lead in the 30th minute before completing his hat trick in the 40th minute. Carl Sainté added El Paso’s fourth goal in the 90+1st minute, his first of the season, to seal the victory for Locomotive.
